Default looking for don carlton rear chassis pics

i have a 70 dodge dart i just brought that was told and advertised that the 4 link was but by steve carlton,the car has a strut frontend,and sqaure tube chassis,just for piece of mind is all im looking for as it is what it is and will be raced as it is,car is still in the trailer and i will get it in the shop and can get pics in a few days,was steve carlton a fabacator,and built his own,or did someone else do his work

looks like it had leaf springs then went to 4 link as the pics of truck where shackles was in truck,never seen 4 link bars this thick,also axle locater is on top of axle,i tried to upload pics but wont let me

Your best bet would be to get hold of the owner of the original cars or others associated with Don that are still with us. But I found this link with lots of photos which may help.

Who is Steve Carlton? All of the Missile cars were built by Chrysler contractors (Ron Butler, Dan Knapp, Dick Oldfield, Joe Pappas etc) and all of Don's personal race cars (Dart Sports etc) were built in NC by Don and Clyde Hodges. Don's son Don Carlton Jr even has a chassis business in NC but I never heard of Steve Carlton.

maybe he was thinking the one that did carltons did his so maybe hodges did it,i did get the car out of north carolina
