Coyote power! I'd love to build one...it will never happen, but with NMRA Coyote Stock, I would love to see a Maverick or Comet, especially a 4 door...

The combo I thought would be built by now is 57 Chevy with a 427 or 396 & a 4-speed....I haven't looked to see what kind of combo it would be BUT it would be very COOL!

Cool, but not nearly as slippery as the newer jellybean cars. LOL

Just wondering why 1986 thunderbird is legal in ss , but 1987&1988 are not listed ? Is it what nobody called to get it in to the listings so it can be a legsl car like the 1986 ? If so who do you call and what you need to do ?

Ken,
This very subject came up in a thread on this site. (link below) Post # 8
I questioned the same thing about using my '87 TC in SS.

I think the general concensous was that any car listed in the classification guide was legal in SS, even if there were not 2 asteriks beside the h.p. number or a seperate SS column.

I am going to send an e-mail to NHRA tech to try to find out.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the 87-88 TC body is legal in SS/GT with a V-8.
