Can't say enough about these two. They are the finest folks you will ever meet. Cal will go out of his way to always help a racer. I've been the recipient of his incredible assistance a few times myself. I met him in '83 before the Winternationals when Tony Janes and I was putting something together, he and Mary Ann and several others were staying down at Tony's ranch in south Whittier. Now, the Ranch was an institution all by itself. No horses, cattle, moose, sheep or other livestock except cats grew there. It seemed that Tony raised cars. New ones seemed to spring up from time to time. It was a purely metallic field full . Never a dull moment there. Looking forward to seeing everybody next month at Pomona one more time. Have a great trip down !!
