Looking back to when HOT ROD printed the results, It happened more than once that both winner and ru were both disqualified. No winner in Stock Eliminator.

Allen, how about you building me a 273 2bbl that will out run them Fords. You think you're getting heat from a few people now, you'd drive everybody crazy with a fast 273. Just think, unlimited potential, no other class to fall into, spaces for lead everywhere, able to get aftermarket pieces approved due to limited parts availability, newer tech people not knowing what a 273 is, having all the tools you need in a small tool box, and best of all, plenty of room to lay down in the backseat for a nap while waiting for tear down inspectors to return from their other track duties.

Congratulations on your performance. Run with the big dogs or stay on the porch.

Thanks Ron! And I’m always up for a new and different challenge, I bet that 273 would be fun to build!!

"I guess if the 'tune up' was this lame then maybe this combo can stand an additional 25 HP on top of the HP added by the 1.20 under."

Absolutely accurate in your assessment. Factor the combination properly.

The reason I asked the question is someone I know may be coming to Columbus and was curious as to the weight in fs/c to decide to add the weight or move to fs/b, thanks for any reply.

FS/C is 7.0 lbs per HP....16 HP x 7.0 = 112 lbs

I was directly behind J Allen when he made that run. I watched the car leave and it was soft! To see that number come up on the score board my jaw dropped. Helluva run!
