64 Chevelle SBC Headers
Can anyone recommend a set of headers that will bolt up without modifying for a 283 Super Stock motor?
What about Stahl headers? Thanks, Brett

Re: 64 Chevelle SBC Headers
Stahl makes a very nice header, in fact, Jere probably has the best value for your dollar if you want a 4 into 1 header. Be ready, Jere will want to know everything about your engine and your car.

Re: 64 Chevelle SBC Headers
I run Stahl on my 65 283 SS Chevelle, the bolt up great and are fast, listen to what he tells you about merge collectors and stepped headers for this combo, years of knowledge and testing go along way.

Re: 64 Chevelle SBC Headers
Thanks for the info.
Glen, have you done any dyno comparisons with headers? If so, what did you find? I am currently running a "Super Comp" Hooker Header that is on it's last leg.

Re: 64 Chevelle SBC Headers
Brett I had super comps and switched to Stahl, picked up HP and it was enought to make you want to change, for this combo listen to jerry, I tried some stuff he said wouldn't work and guess what...he was right.
