Default Rim size stock eliminator

Since your limited to a 9" wide tire what rim size works the best.

8" with the sidewall outside rim

9" with sidewall even with rim

10" with sidewall buldging outside

or does it depend if your running goodyears or Hoosiers?

Don't know about stick cars but 10" seems best for radials...

Many will tell you that a 10" rim works best with 9" slick. With that said, lot of people out there running with a 8" rim... I have used both, with good success. I would use the 10" if you can fit it on your car.

It is not a Goodyear vs. Hoosier thing, but a bias tire vs. radial tire issue, that really makes more of a difference. Air pressure, rim size, rim weight etc. all differ on the results of the radial vs. bias tires. Radials are about a tenth quicker for most cars, but the bias tires are more forgiving and cheaper. Most get more runs out of bias also. The stick shift cars have a really hard time for the most part, with radials.

Good luck, and do not be afraid to ask lots of questions. There are some really experienced people on here, that are great to help. They have been good to me over and over.
