Default Another oil question

Need recommendation for every day oil for bracket mode in a stocker. already have quite a bit of Lucas 10-30 full synthetic race only, but also looking at R.P. 5-30 Maxima 5-30 or maybe Schafer? Do any of these have significant HP increase,s or wear protection over the Lucas?

I read a slightly dated oil analysis report. The Comp Cams 10w-30 was on top. Next was Gibbs and then Schaeffer. Any oil that I want to try, I go to their website and download the Tech Spec for that oil. I've also done a lot of reading on bobistheoilguy.com.

Your local NAPA store carries Valvoline VR racing oil. Been using it for years.

Right. You don't need anything else. Your not likely running a bracket engine as hard as we run Super Stock engines, with as much valve spring, etc.

Valvoline makes the VR in both conventional and synthetic.
