Guessing this is not a real LO23 because I don't think it's ever been mentioned on this forum. But still....have to post and ask !

There is a list somewhere in this topic.

I am positive the Patel LO23 has never been found.

Not sure of the others but it is a small number.

You're right it hasn't been mentioned but it is a real LO23. Owned by George "Tommy" Slaughter, driven by Jerry Flippo. I bought it in 1977, man it was nice, the best of parts, Slaughter could afford the best. But I had a change of employment, was going out of state, didn't know when I would be back and sold it to a local guy. It's still in his garage, hasn't been out in over 30 years.

Jim Rhineharts car. Sorry if I got the name spelled wrong Jim.

BTW. I heard rumblings that you are putting together a 50 year SS Hemi Reunion.
Care to comment on that Jim???? At least a Yay or a Nay would be cool!!!!

I made a post in a group on facebook bout this car. This is what came back

"Dell Jones: The car is still alive and well. I talked to the guy that has it. He wanted to know where I got his phone number and he wasn't interested in giving information. Mark and I have run into this a lot."

"Wade Owens: He used to run at our local track. Had a hemi willys before this."

"Nitro Joe Jackson: we beat him in the finals of a really big Modified event they had in St Louis in 1977, really neat car, he was running 4A/HR back then"

Do you remember who the original owner was? Or did you ever have that info?

I never knew. I'm not sure what year Slaughter bought the car either. I think he got it up around Tulsa. I know a well informed gentleman to ask the next time I see him.
