WTB 16" trailer rims/tires to fit 5200# axle
Looking to buy a set of 16" rims with or W/O tires for my 28' enclosed that has the 6 lug 5200# axles.
Let me know what you have and how much - mmracing@nvc.net Thanks |

Do a google search for RV salvage yards in your general area.
They usually have an abundance of 16" 6 lug trailer rims for sale, usually minus tires. Another possible source would be rims off of a Lincoln Mark 7 or a towncar, I think. * Mike Graham please chime in on this.* Clarification....I just talked with Mike Graham and he corrected me, the Lincoln wheels are 16", but only 5 lug. But they are a good way to upgrade your 15" 5 lug trailer over to 16" 5 lug wheels.

American Racing and Eagle Alloys and some other make those. Less than $100 each new, sometime they got blems. 16" x 6' or 7' 6 hole. If the looks don't affect you, Dexter Axle has them about 35 each. Hope this helps.

May not be relevant in your case, but I plan to use the same size tires as my dually. My trailer has 8-lug axles, I figure the spare trailer tires couldwork in a pinch to limp me a ways as a front wheel/tire on the truck (assuming I have a flat on the same trip already on the truck).

I have limped a dually with one wheel/tire removed from the rear. A used truck I bought a while back had the wrong wheel as a spare!

drace69,
Look here, for those too. They have a pretty good selection, of pianted and chrome and aluminum. http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/...w128700ms.aspx Jimmy Parker told me about them. I bought some over the winter, great so far.
