Default 351c Cam Timing Question

Before I have a smaller cam ground I want to exhaust my options on this big one. The cam card says that the int. open's .050 @ 23' BTDC installed @ 102 int CL. Currently this happens @ 24 BTDC. (101 cl ?) If I advance this 4' that would be 28 BTDC. If I understand right that would be 97 int CL. I dealing with a low power problem. ........... 97 just seems way out there to even try. Application is 1972 351c/240hp 2bbl. Comp ground the cam. Input/ideas.

It's not out there if you are trying for some lower rpm torque.,you may as well try it then you will know you can always put it back if you don't like it.
