Default A few newbie questions

I'm hoping to make it to race with you guys at TVD on June 8 & 9 to put the first 1/4 mi. passes on the Nova, and I have a few questions:
1. Will I need an IHRA membership and number?

2. Do you weigh the cars in tech to determine class? I haven't scaled it yet so I'm not sure what it weighs.

3. Will you guys draw straws or cards for who gets me first round?

Hope to see you there...just need to finish the interior first. And plug the wiper holes. And weld more rings on the trailer. And...and...and...

Paul look forward to seeing your chevy II as i have watched go together on class racer - neat car! You will not need IHRA membership - Scale is open and fairly close (within 5#) so know your class guide & add or subtract for class you wish to fall into - And we do qualify on IHRA index at TVD so you get the 3 tenth gift. Entree fee is only $85 per day and if you win first rd you get $75 if your lucky enough to win the whole thing you will get $1500. MCR is the best thing going for us classracers in the upper midwest and we allways wellcome new cars. Look forward to meeting you in person.

Thanks, Dan - to say I'm excited is putting it mildly. Don't have a weight box yet, so I'll just land where I land and go from there.
One more question...will I be OK using the Chevron fuel I get locally, or should I wait and get fuel at TVD - assuming it will be available?
