Launch help!!!
Hi all
Having a problem with my car, just installed a new 8" converter that should flash around 5000, I launch foot to the floor on a 2 step @2500 rolls about 5 feet or so kind of feels like a "buck" car sort of bounces , it's killing my 60' time and what ever it is it doing the same every time combo is 255/350 69 camaro ,ps fuel pressure is 5.5 psi |

If all you changed was the torque converter, then I would suggest putting your old converter back in and see if your problem goes away .

It's leaving more violently until it starts bucking
Lost about a tenth and the density altitude was 9600 ft |

I'm not positive about spill over no one saw any smoke but not sure if it would smoke as fast as it happens

I had spill over several years ago when I still ran a carb. No smoke. Larry is likely correct.

Yes, odds are there is fuel splashing out of the float bowl through the vent, or where the secondary metering rods are.
There is a baffle found on late model carburetors that may help. It is held on by the two screws on the air horn directly behind the choke tower.
