Great Lakes Pro Tree Association
I am pleased to announce the formation of the Great Lakes Pro Tree Association. 2018 season will consist of 4 double race weekends at some very nice racetracks. I am trying to get the support and participation of all you Super Gas and Super Rod racers who don't want to bracket race. I feel the IHRA's decision to bracket race opens the door for us. As a former racer, I understand and am trying to make a program that benefits racers and allows us all to have some fun. The 4 races are June 9-10 at Milan Dragway, June 16-17 at National Trail Raceway, July 21-22 at Mid Michigan Motorplex and September 29-30 at Dragway 42. Please let me know if you have any questions. More information at the facebook page.

Re: Great Lakes Pro Tree Association
Along with the season long points program (explained on the Facebook page) I am proud to announce our first sponsorship award. Lagos Farms has stepped up and is sponsoring the "Lagos Farms Losin' Light" award. This award will pay $50 to the driver with the best losing reaction time in the first round at all 8 races.
I am actively searching for more sponsors and will keep you posted whenever something new is announced. Anyone interested in sponsoring this organization should contact me.

Re: Great Lakes Pro Tree Association
Mike,
When you get the chance call Marc Wesler at VP Fuels. He's located in Michigan and I told him how I was helping you out. He's interesting in doing something with your series. Rob K. |
