Default Fayetteville CCRA 6-27-09

Gates open at 3 p.m. $75 car and driver. If we have 20 cars pays $1050 to win and $450 r/u. 30 cars pays $100 to semis and $1435 win $615 r/u. We should easily have 30 cars and win almost as much as a pro am w/ contingencies.

1/4 mile event

Congrats to Eddie Longhany Jr. for his win and A.J. Currie for runner up. It was all local "boys" at 3 cars as Jimmy Spell was the semi finalist. It doesn't matter if Eddie is in a roundy round car or his stocker...he's tough on race day!
Sorry you missed it Danny. You probably could have made it as they decided to hold off on running until it cooled down some. They ran "shake down" runs around 6:15 and our two time runs began around 7:30 or so. It was a good move because it had cooled considerably by then.
