Re: Team Woodfin's Bantam Roadster Build
At Woodfin Automotive we work on EFI equipped cars and truck most every day. Yet, we do not race those cars ! Nor do we engineer the systems, we simply repair them.
Our roadster is not only a new exercise in drag racing with EFI it also requires some home spun engineering. In keeping with the basic theme of hot rodding if you are not modifying or customizing every part on the package you are being remiss. The engine is a Brodix aluminum block with raised cam and raised deck. EVERYTHING that bolts on the block requires some tweaking. Here I am spotting the magnet bolt that will screw into the cam gear. The magnet is set at 195 degrees before TDC #1 firing. It identifies the #1 cylinder position for the ECM and begins the injector firing sequence.

Re: Team Woodfin's Bantam Roadster Build
Q - What is required if the fenders need to be wider? If you want the tire tread under the fender?
A - Modification! Simply cut off them off, splice the width, reinstall. No hill for a hot rodder More specifically, our team member body man extraordinaire,Joel.
