Uncle Sam Super Stock AMX
I am trying to help locate the Uncle Sam Super Stock AMX that ran out of the El Paso and Albuquerque area in the late 60s early 70s. The drivers were Tom Shelton and Dennis Kincaid. In 1971 it was sold to Ray Griffin who still raced it as Uncle Sam. Last seen sometime in the mid-late 70s next to a gas station in Albuquerque. A guy picked it up in a trailer with a picture of a Monster Jeep on the side called "Moose". Rumored to currently be in the San Fransisco area. There is a book being written called Lost Muscle Cars and this is hopefully one of the featured cars. Discretion can be assured if the owner desires. Also, if anyone has any pictures of the car they could loan (with credit) to the author to use it would be appreciated.
Here is what I have from my Super Stock AMX site: http://www.superstockamx.com/page5.php |
