Default Grand Bend July 19, 20 results

Saturday’s race started with time trials under dark clouds, then a light mist and then concluded with
a washed out day of races. Of coarse, that didn’t stop the socializing and bench racing that went on well into the night.

Sunday dawned with dry ground and some clouds that quickly changed to a sunny and clear day.
32 Can-Am Stock and Super Stock cars competed and after typically, some very close racing, Ryan Boniferro’s Barracuda
bested Bob Parks GT Camaro in the final.

The Geoblaster member’s entry draw ($100) was won by Dan Velenosi.
The Rick Hill best 1st round looser award ($50) went to Dave Drewitt.
The Karbelt Bounty Hunter award was not contested.

Our thanks go to the Grand Bend Motorplex, Paul Spreit and staff for all they do to support our series and give us a
great track and safe conditions to race on. We look forward to returning there again next year.

In two weeks, we race at St Thomas Raceway Park, a favourite among most members.
Saturday night will again feature the Can-Am trophy shootout, sponsored by Wildgoose Performance. This year it will
be contested by any racer that has not previously won a Can-Am Stock/SuperStock event.

See you all soon at the races.
