Good Luck this weekend, Ed! I hope everything goes well for "Team Carpenter"!

The Redemption "Big Tire" Circuit are some of the folks from the Street Outlaws program, and they do put on a good show!

Well I'm about to be on the road. Worked 14 hr shift yesterday. 3 hr ride to Houston pick up my son at work, get the trailer, then over to my sons shop to get the car, and finally get to Baytown. Weather looks to be great today but it's only sportsman parking and registration today. Stock first out in the morning. Weather will be fast tomorrow with rain still forecast for Saturday....will update when I'm actually at the track......

Not trying to hijack the thread but just my observations:
The Big Tire Small Tire classes were run at Vegas. They ran 4 wide on Friday only.
I was not impressed. Very few of either class made it down the track each time and they ran 1/8 mile only.
We were pitted close by the cars and they did not draw many spectators in the pits.
They were pitted next Pro Stock and I would have expected more spectators.
Just not what I was expecting.
Just My 2 Cents

I'm sorry for the lousy reporting. We are parked in the dust in the back 40. Nhra and Royal Purple Raceway should be ashamed of themselves. I'll leave it at that. I have TMobile and service is terrible for me. I post when I can tomorrow. Pics may have to wait until I get to hotel. I couldn't even download pictures to my host site today. We are parked by my good friend Ashton Hudson. Some of you are aware that I have a bad back. I had 4 surgeries and I have an outpatient procedure waiting for me Monday when I get back. I already am feeling the pain today so tomorrow will be a bi$&h. We don't have a golf cart so I went and asked how much to rent one for the weekend. 675.00 the world revolves around greed now. So anyway I will be walking everywhere. Tomorrow Stock is first out. SS gets 3 then into class. Weather is suppose to be great tomorrow. More later......

Jim
What was the famous quote from a few years back about the Houston pits, AKA The Serve-Pro Nationals? Was it "This is just one big bucket of ........."?
