Do you put the hose hook-up/manifold on the bottom or top rad hose? It would seem the bottom would be more efficient, but the top would be easier access.

We put ours on the top. Easy to use and we can chill to 55 degrees if we want to

what ever is most convienent access!!! if you have a circulating pump it really makes no difference as the water is moving thru the cooling system anyway--FED387

On our Yates headed motor we go directly into the front of the heads since we have no upper water fill. I have seen some that had it hooked directly to the radiator as well, I would imagine it was a custom piece...
