hood ???
Can I use a z-28 or Iroc hood on a car that was originally produced with a flathood??? For example a 85 car with the louvered hood versus the flat hood---- Bruce Bachelder says full hardware as produced--What does as produced mean? -As I understand it the 67-69 Camaro is allowed to use a Cowl Induction Hood with any engine even if that engine never came with a Cowl hood. Anybody know for sure??? Comp 387

Re: hood ???
I dont think NHRA has changed their minds on this. 69 Camaro is the only one allowed the Ram Air Hood!

Re: hood ???
I got a ruling on this a couple of months ago from Glendora re: my 85 Camaro.
The answer was NO. Flat hood on the coupe. Louvered hoods on the Z-28 and IROC only.
