WOW !

That's THE best drag racing video I have ever seen !!!!!

There was not a know-it-all announcer trying to impress us with how much he knows & how cool he is. (That's no badmouth to anybody in particular, since I don't know any of 'em.)

But the main thing was that they actually had the mic turned up & close enuff to the starting line to actually hear the nasty Stocker cams thump & the high stall converters do their thing.

The camera guy got lots of zoom-in shots. At night, you could see the dial-in & ET of both cars.

The camera was close enuff so that you could see each cars staging progress.

Hey, for those who like Stock, it just don't git no better'n nis !

Course, me bein the way I am & all, I'da liked it better if one of the old school Pontiacs had won !

THANKS for posting it !!!!!

There are a couple of tracks in Div. 3 that have score boards that are nearly impossible to read, especially in bright sunlight. National Trail Raceway is one of them, IRP Indy is next.

Rumor has it new ones are going up at Indy for this upcoming season. I know for a fact the ones from ATL are gone... so only time will tell I guess.

National trail has the worst scoreboards! I went to the sportsnationals last year and couldn't read anything during the day. An upgrade would be great there at some point.

While racing at NTR with the Buckeye Stock Super Stock group last May they were installing new grandstands on both sides of the track for the upcoming no prep kings race. Don't know if they would have to replace the scoreboards entirely or just put in some LED lights. Either way I've had trouble reading those boards on a cloudy day.
