Default Chick Ross Recovery Fund

Our friend and Top Sportsman racer Chick Ross of New Hampshire was badly injured in a crash & fire at Atco last Thursday during a test session before the NHRA National Open.

He's currently in a burn unit in Pennsylvania and had his first skin graft surgery today. He will be in the hospital at least a month. Chick is one of the greatest people I've ever met (not just in this sport, either..) and he is going to need all the help he can get during his recovery.

I have set up the Chick Ross Recovery Fund as a vehicle to get donations to Chick and his family to help defray their expenses during this period. You can make donations payable to 'Chick Ross Recovery Fund'.

Please send donations to:

Bank of America
Chick Ross Recovery Fund c/o Barbara Gibson
400 East Main St.
Meriden CT 06450

As they say in November, Vote Early and Vote Often. Racers are the greatest bunch I know and I know this will help. Please pass this email around and if you have access to a website please post the information if you think it will help.

Last note, credit where credit is due. I never knew how to set up an account like this, and when I went to my bank (Bank of America) they were extraordinarily helpful in getting this done. They deserve thanks for their helpfulness.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On that note, thank you to the work of the Kenny and Krug families and Mick Smallridge for their efforts in raising some money for Chick at the track last weekend. And a big thank you to everyone who donated. Every little bit helps, especially with Chick's hospital stay estimated to be over a month.

Thanks!
