"Live" from Earlville, IA 2017
The divisional is not until next weekend, but this weekend there is a Combo race for $4000. So after we got beat at Indy yesterday, we loaded up and headed to Iowa a couple of days early!
They finished up yesterday's race this morning after some delays for rain ran into darkness last night about the time we arrived here! Randy Mans beat Mike Lund to win the $4000 for yesterday 's race with $2000 for the runner up. We have had our qualifying run and will be into round 1 shortly More later! Patsy |

Earlville is, as usual, one of the friendliest places you will ever race! We moved over to the campground yesterday to stay until Wed, then back to the track. Actually the track and campground are connected and you can go back and forth!
Today we are going to a local picnic at New Vienna which I understand is close to here. Suppose to have awesome food and y'all know how we are about good food! Lol |

Patsy,
Do you know how many Indy refugees traveled to Earlville? Last edited by Frank Castros; 09-05-2017 at 07:59 PM. |

If you are baseball fans Dyersville is real close. That's where they filmed the move "Field of Dreams". We visited it earlier this summer when we raced at Earlville.

Took these pictures today at "The Field of Dreams". Cool place. Reggie Jackson and some other baseball players were here yesterday for some sort of event out there. Last edited by Larry Hill; 09-04-2017 at 08:38 PM. |
