It did, because it was a bracket car, not anymore. It's stickered up and looks good, just different. No big wheelies anymore either.

Some of us don't have many things that new on our cars. Other than oil, valve springs & tires.

I have lots on my car and would remove them if I could. Unfortunately after such a long time the glue has leached into the paint and turned things yellow underneath.

I just checked the contingency requirements:

https://www.nhra.com/competition/con...ReqContingency

I could legally and ethically claim four products on the contingency list.

I'd rather have the clean "Stock" appearing look than the money that I would get "if" I won a race.

No decals, the car is still under construction and hasn't been to paint yet.
Since I could only claim 4 also no way I'm putting them on a new paint job.
Maybe on the windows, does that count?

I seem to buy the product that doesn't have a contingency at the time of purchase, but then a year or so later they offer a contingency and want a receipt and a W9 within that calendar year. So to save myself any agrivation, I usually will not put stickers on the car.
The car is street legal and don't want to keep putting stickers on and then trying to figure on how to getting them off.

I would use a good quality magnetic tape if you don't need a lot of decals. This way if you win you get paid, and if you get tired of the look remove them. gsa612

T shirt 'em. Pull the backing off. put the decal on your T shirt to collect some lint, apply. Takes some of the "stick" away. Hair dryer to get them off and WD40 to clean up any adhesive for the ones that are stuck fast.

A hair dryer will loosen them right up.

I dont get it. Run Lucas Oil and Fluids and Tires of your choice is an extra $1200 bucks. Everybody needs a Helmet Simpson pays another $300. Sunoco you got to have gas too Bam another $300. Not hard to collect. They email you a w9 you email it back. You guys have way too much money if that's a hassle.
