Yeah, great article, car, and racer. She's one of my favorite Pontiac racers.

And, their story is similar to ours. I bought & built a '68 Firebird for my girlfriend. We raced Pontiacs together, in Stock & then brackets. Had lots of fun & won lots of races. But we weren't big time, like Randi Lyn & Bo. We only ran a 4-state area, within a few hours drive from home.

And, we did eventually get married. It will be 40 years, this Sept. Hope Bo & Randi Lyn will enjoy many more years of racing & a long happy life together.

That IS a great article.Great for the larger population of the NHRA and drag racing as a whole, the sportsman racer. My Mom ran my Dad's Chevy II bracket car back in the day to a Powder Puff win at Milan. I am all about supporting my girls and women in general of getting into racing, if that is what they want.

If it would stop snowing here in Michigan, then maybe we could go to the track....

There are several of 'em nowadays, since they can use aftermarket blocks, forged rods & pistons, plus unlimited cam duration & spring pressure.

Here's an article about the quickest Pontiac Stocker.
