Re: NMCA / GLSSA challenge at Martin, Mich.
There's an error on the race flyer that was posted. It refers to the 2023 champions and 2023 points leaders. That is incorrect. The seated cars are the top 4 in each category per the current 2024 standings. Watch for the flyer to be corrected in the next week.

Re: NMCA / GLSSA challenge at Martin, Mich.
Does NMCA still allow a racer to run a single event per year without having to pay a membership fee?

GLSSA Racers Dominate Stock and S/S Racing at US 131 NMCA Race. Grant & Craig Saurbaugh Win! Bill Lent Takes S/S
Once again GLSSA Racers put on a dominant performance at the NMCA Power Festival at US 131 Motorsports Park. It started with the NMCA vs. GLSSA Shootout where 8 GLSSA racers took on 8 NMCA standouts in shootout style matchups. By the 4th round it was all GLSSA racers with Grant Saurbaugh, Paul Brown, Doug Wright and Zack Running. In the final Grant used a better light to win over Paul Brown and collect $1250 and bragging rights for the GLSSA. In Micro Strategies Stock Eliminator, it was another Saurbaugh in the final. This time Craig Saurbaugh taking the win over Kevin Zaskowski. That made it 2 big checks for the Saurbaugh family. Entering the Semi-Finals in Micro Strategies Super Stock there was no doubt it would be another GLSSA sweep with Chris Lozon, Bill Lent and Randy Running left to battle to the win. Lozon went red to Running and Bill Lent took his V6 Firebird Super Stocker to the winners circle.

Re: NMCA / GLSSA challenge at Martin, Mich.
" There's nothing more humbling than a good *** whooppin' " (Woody Hays).... The cream of the crop Great Lakes Stock/Superstock racers showed up to defend their crown at the annual GLSSA vs. NMCA Challenge at Martin Michigan. A great time and great racing was had by all! Thanks to all that attended. We'll look forward to doing it again next year! Until then, congratulations to the GLSSA!
