Default Looking for S/M 65 Barracuda

Still looking for Ronnie's (Sox7Martin) 65 Barracuda to restore if anything is left of it. If not may try to build from as many photo's I can get.
It went to Buckeye&Vernon team then I think to Pop Whitt in Va. he called the HIPPI HEMI. That is the end of the line. Could use some help. Any suggestions???

Mike Guffey who in my opinion is the BEST at finding these cars has tracked this one for years. He has some theories about what happened to it but has never found it. His guess and I have to agree is that most likely it ended up being "rebodied" with a later model body. Sounds crazy but that would explain why it has vanished.

Nothing got rebodied back then by the SM team unless it was an updated grill or something to change years. The 65 A bodies got sold.

This was done well after SM sold the car. Pop Whitt is where the trail goes cold. He owned it after Buckeye & Vernon....

Read that Pop Whitt went to a flip top next. Think drive train went in the new car possibly. Which means the S/M body got set out some place back behind the barn . That's happened to a lot of old race car bodies.
With no one having any clues as to what has happened, looks more like it is somewhere with a tree growing up through it or has gone to crusher.
