I don't understand why they don't allow racers to tow their cars at least to the main pit area when they have situations like this. I ran at Gateway years back, and we were pitted in the Nascar track, the only class allowed to tow was Super Comp. It was ridiculous how far we were from staging. You didn't feel like you were part of the event.

Thanks Dave we're going to try, Carl I think they'll be allowed to tow. If the road to the road course was better it might not be quite as bad except for the distance and like you said not feeling like your part of the race. Its just not good, a lot of racers wont be back next year. Monday well be interesting!

Rick your welcome and we are. We ran the TnT yesterday and found some performance that was right under my noise. We wont be able to see how much until we can run flat out again, we'll probably go to Bradenton in a couple weeks to see. It looks like they've worked out some of the parking issues letting races that are staying for the Gator park out side of the rear gate, that was a good call. We start time runs this morning at 9AM and S/St is first out. Here are some photos from the TnT.

Bill,
From what I heard on D3TV, Super Stock & Gas were getting another time run and the rest were going right into first round. Now does that mean SS & SG are out first I'm not sure. I know they have Juniors scheduled for 2 Time Runs tomorrow and Alky is supposed to run at 1pm for 1st round.

Well I started the day yesterday in a mad thrash my fuel pump started leaking (BAD). I tried fixing the pump that was on the car all the while they're calling S/St for our first time run. Finally taking the old pump off and get the back up PP back together (I took parts off that PP to try and fix the other) and it ran with no leaks(thank goodness). I get up to the staging lanes and the last S/St car is doing a burn out (oh well). I asked the NHRA guy if I can run and to my surprise he said I can run after stock thank you NHRA. My fist pass was a 10.86 not bad second pass was a 10.92 I can live with that. One think of note there's been a number of on track incidents yesterday. I believe 4 cars either lost control or crashed. Not sure who or how bad, I was just listening to the announcer and it seemed like one after the other where having trouble. Today its Jrs out first at 8:30 for a time run then we go right into first round. I'm not sure of the rest of the schedule but SG and SS get there 2nd time rum today. No photos to post from yesterday, my photographer accidently deleted them. I'm going to fire her if she keeps that up. hehehe
