Ignition Reference Angle is used to move what your talking about in the Holley ED . They also have a tool to make sure your system ( due to crank trigger gap, wiring, ignition choice) are ramping up at the same time as your map.. So its " following " the map. Some systems lag behind, some race ahead in quick places, like running up through your convertor on its way to the flash point. The tool to make sure its advancing correctly is called Inductive Delay and its found in Ignition Parameters .

Good info, Jeff. Thank you. Worked with the Holley system last year, I felt like it was surely there. You saved me getting my laptop out to look for it.
