Wow this is dragging on! I just move slow because I don't trust I'm doing everything right so I ask a bunch of questions. Anyhow, checking bearing clearance, assembling pistons and rods, starting spring seat machining. I asked PAC what everyone was doing for the 1409x spring install in these heads, he said "although we wouldn't recommend it, most are just throwing them in the head with no spring seat or cup". I just don't know how you guys that build your own engines can possibly do this without a machine shop at your house. Back to it tomorrow, at least for a couple hours.

Not much done today, Main bores are slightly off so I ordered a set of main studs and I'll have to align hone it. Won't happen till Monday.

Test fitting wheels before mounting, just a LITTLE close on the left side shock mount.
