Lightning racing oil and system 1 oil filters. I don't use any passenger car oil or filters on my race engines.

WIX/NAPA and Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil (no passenger car oil). Have used Mobil 1 Full Synthetic in bracket motors without issue but no way turning 8K thru the lights.

Research what your cam/lifter manufacturer recommends I have heard hydraulic rollers are picky on oil weights. For a Filter Wix is a good filter and I'd look into Motorcraft. They used to be top of the line, don't know who makes them or what the ratings are.

If you're building a Hydraulic Roller Engine, I'd suggest using Johnson Lifters, the short travel Race versions. With the correct Valve Springs are stable up to 8000 RPM and higher.
As for oil, a good Racing Synthetic, such as JR1, HPL , Red Line.
If your bearing clearances allow, use a 5/20 or 5/30 weight. The lighter weight returns to the pan quicker and disperses air bubbles quicker as well. Also the lighter oil may protect better than a heavier oil that could be compromised with aeration.
And... WIX Racing or Moroso Oil Filters
My 2 cents.

I use Mobile One 0-20 Weight
Not road racing and figure wears engine less with all the cold starting.
