Default 383ci sbc

its tuff looking in there during assembly to see/measure the rod or rod bolt to camshaft lobe clearance...(scat h/beam rods and roller cam) any tips would help please/thankyou...

Smaller base circle cam and stroker rods seem to work well for us but we still check. Its not easy but not that bad.

tks. JC. yes on the small base circle cam. now I'm finding it tight between counter weights and piston pin bosses...shooting for .060'' there.
