I usually leave the stands when the fuelers come up but I would stay for that.

Also as close as the race is to Indy (time wise, less than two weeks), it might be hard for many. That's one reason I wasn't able to race the Keystone Nat'ls two weeks after Indy. After seven-eight days off at Indy, it wasn't feasible to turn around eight or nine days later and take five or six more days off.

I attended last yrs. Z-Maxx national event from Friday-Sun. and the place wasn't even close to being full on any of the days....plus I remember having to get to the track for the 7:30 a.m. call-ups for Stock, SS, and Super Gas---to me a total kick- in- the -*** to these racers.AND their fans....Bruton had better come up w/a gimmick to get the people in there...Now he's got 2 Nat. events?? Sorry, but nhra is getting more and more like the puppet show over at nascar every day.....Just my .02 cents... WJ

No dog in the hunt here but, I hope the NHRA starting line prep can work miracles. It was junk for the NMRA/NMCA event a few weeks ago. Prepped by Z max workers......

Wait til you have to deal with the Z max employees and security. (grabbing you by the shirt, throwing your credentials tag back at you, etc) I am surprised that a punch or two was not thrown.

The after race report will be interesting. I hope I am wrong.

At least there will be one record set at this race. FOUR OILDOWNS AT ONE TIME. Hate to miss it.

I have been told by someone who contacted NHRA today and there is no "grade points required just enter. What is Super Stock entry fee? What is crew entry fees? Any cost to NHRA I have missed?

Bruton Smith's kid tried to get a grudge race for Fri. night for $20K between Force/Pedregon.Force said today he wants no part of it.
Maybe they should just get Dave Ley to run S/SS as a ECSSSA race.
