Talking Re: new means of track prep

I'd say it's a safe bet Ari made a wheelie bar adjustment {after a change of underwear} after that run. ....What an amazeing lucky save. ...Kudos to the photographer, an excellent sequence of shots! .......Looks like the rollerblade track prep works well too!......Keep up the reports, it's good to see that something we do over here is appreciated in Europe! .......Tom

The yellow '69 Roadrunner is an ex-Don Little car.

'66 Chevelle does look like Merkley's car from Division 6. I remember when he put the carb stud through the hood at Mission a few years ago.

If I'm correct the '70 Dart is a former West Coast car. Eric Voigt if I'm not mistaken.

Julie,

Was the RR green when Don Little owned it?
The Red Dart stick car was driven by Eric Voigt and owned by Rod Green.

I know it was yellow when he sold it, but I'm not sure as to the color it was when he bought the car. Sorry!

I was in the pair ahead of Ari so I never saw it, but found this on the net later:

http://www.aros-nats.se/film/Oopsbest.mov

He has more power this year, for sure.
Car was pretty OK, and Ari as well. Lowered rpm the day after and went faster than ever.

We will start the 720 mile trip to Midnight Sun Internationals tonight, it takes a while with an old Volvo bus and one driver, the coffee maker is working continiously...
