Default Gen 2 Camaro Front Shocks

Installing Double adjustable fronts. Using QA-1's. Does someone make a thicker mounting ring to weld to the bottom of the A arm to position the lower shock mount where you want it? The rings I have seen are all .250. The QA 1 shocks are a longer stroke than stock, so I have some length to play with. I would like to be able to adjust the shocks w/o having to remove the lower mounting fasteners.
