38-40 feet from start line to tree. 90 inches from ground to center of pre-stage lamp.

Another question along the same lines... what is the distance between the pre-stage and stage beams, and how high are they above the track surface?

Now there's a new excue i can use for fouling 1st round at Atco on Sat.Te tree was 2 feet closer than last year and I saw it sooner. Also that the light refraction was different than all the other times I ran.Sounds like a good basis for a new NHRA conspiracy.
