Default “Live from” the NHRA D2 Nat open series at Piedmont

Everyone bare with me, I don’t normally do this BUT someone needs to as this series that Rich and NHRA has put together needs exposure! I was actually in town late last night but came over to the track around noon. My tech card was #30, they called the test n tune around 3:30 or so because there was rain and a thunderstorm that came in. I’ve been in the motorhome resting from my accident a few weeks ago, anyway I walked outside a few minutes ago and the place looks to be filling up pretty good. I don’t know how much I’ll be reporting but I’ll try and post the sheets when they come out. We’re supposed to start at 9 am with junior dragster and we should get three runs tomorrow. I’ll be back tomorrow with more information.

Wish they had the Pure Stockers

Well guys and gals it’s been raining off and on all night so starting at 9 is probably not going to happen.

Duane sent me the sheets and I posted them for him, also he says they announced that they will run the event until completion today.

Yup...So do all the associations!
AHRA is looking at the IHRA classes too !
Owners and associations contact me asking technical questions and what classes a car will fall in!
There is a good bit of support keeping Pure Stock.
Planning to show up to a few races this year.

Going to leave the 95SS Pure Stock.
Will finish the 69 Impala for Stock.
It has all the chassis reinforcement done.

Wow..Actually could do that too!
Right now dealing with three aging parents.
They are needing more and more care.
