Finally Installed Lift

I finally installed my lift today, well I didn't do it, Rob Derr did the install. I have been trying to get a local shop to do the install and completely forgot about Rob. Sal Biondo reminded me of Rob Derr's company RD's Automotive Equipment. Rob also races super street and is a member of Class Racer. Rob is out of Maryland, but he installs up and down the east coast.

Rob suggest I go with the Atlas, he uses it in his shop and that was good enough for me. I have a 123 inch ceiling so I had to go with the plate on the floor. Mohawk lifts are the only ones that make a lift without the plate for a low ceiling, but they are pricey.

It only to a few hours to install, Rob knows his stuff and is very professional. I highly recommend anyone looking for a lift to contact him.

The lift weighs about 1400 pounds but it goes up quick, if you do the install yourself make sure you have a few friends around to help upright the columns.

Nice job Ken, Now where are you installing the other amenities of a Man's Garage. Where is the Beverage center, couch, 100" TV and the Jenn-Air grill? Claude Ruel

Rob, thanks again, the lift works great with plenty of room to walk underneath the car. I will contact you on what accessories I need.

Rob also installed my lift. He had it up faster than I could have unpacked the boxes! I would recommend him to anyone looking for an installation. E

Hi Ken ! Nice Lift! Your going to love it, I too purchased the same one this summer! No more laying on the garage floor !
