D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Good Afternoon -
I would like to announce that D3TV is changing for 2019 and beyond. Next year's schedule will be greatly expanded, with coverage of multiple Lucas Oil Divisional and Regional events in Divisions 2 through 7. (Division 1 will continue their great coverage on D1TV). The new name NHRASportsman.TV better reflects what we do, and aligns better with the renamed NHRA.TV (formerly NHRA All Access). What will not change, however, is the great FREE coverage from tracks all across the US. Here's a link to the new website. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a great 2019 season! Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Well... After my earlier post I was informed that I need to make a couple of changes. To be clear, I would not have proceeded had I not believed I had the OK. This only affects the name. I am still planning on producing the same published schedule and so forth, just need to adjust a couple of items for legal purposes.
Stay tuned for the "new" new name... |

Great news!! I hope WHEN NHRA starts charging, the charges are at least reasonable!

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
If NHRA starts charging for it I won't be a part of it. Fundamentally, it has to be free to the viewers - we're trying to generate a fan base and support, not revenue. For the first four years, I was able to self-fund it; that went away when I lost my full time job last August. I'm fortunate that there are some great companies that believe in what I'm trying to do and are able to fund this effort. People like Bo Butner and Randi Lyn Shipp, Mike and Emily Volkman, Craig Gualtiere, Phil Unruh, Shane Thompson, Ted Wiens, Phillip Oakley, Rob Youngblood, Don Kennedy, Don Higgins... if you ever get a chance to support them - PLEASE DO! They are the ones helping me, and supporting you!
I'm not an employee of NHRA, and they aren't paying me to do this. The people I named above are the ones keeping this going. Thanks to them! Warren |
