Default Affordable ss racing

Those boys down south are trying to make a go of SS racing like their Gasser classes...https://southeastgassers.com/super-stock-rules/ Check them out on you tube for actual race footage.

Reads 55 to 67 bodies but lists Ford 302 as an accepted engine. That is a 68 and later displacement engine. That set aside, anything that puts stock bodied cars in the lanes is OK with me.

"Ridiculously expensive" means regular Stock or Super Stock (car can run under the index).

"Expensive" Stock or Super Stock means you own a car, but don't race it.

"Affordable (or less expensive)" means you sold your Stock or Super Stock car and have become an at-home spectator (because even attending a National Event costs a fortune).

"Affordable (or less expensive)" means you sold your Stock or Super Stock car - for way less than you had invested - and have become an at-home spectator (because even attending a National Event costs a fortune).
Fixed it.

Isn't affordable ss racing an oxymoron? Or is it, that we are morons to think racing is affordable?

Same deal on the 429-460.

The first year of either was 1968 but listed as an acceptable engine
