The Godfather AKA John Musial
Glad to see that Don Corleone, The Godfather, AKA John Musial finally has his beautiful 69 Camaro back on the track. John ran IHRA Crate Motor Stock for many years. Now with the help of Mike Walter and Jim Bailey, John is now running SS/JA. There is a picture of John hanging them high on Fast Photos. If you see this car at the track you owe it to yourself to go check it out. It is one damn good looking 69 Camaro. Hope to see you soon "Godfather", Mike

Re: The Godfather AKA John Musial
when your next race? you coming to Clay-city? or maybe National Trails? I think dad is going to set record @ Clay-city ( I just picked up his (my) good cyl head today from the machine shop) & Marissa is making a big "thing" of pulled-pork for Coulmbus.

Re: The Godfather AKA John Musial
John,
Glad to see you in Super Stock...the only problem is you may not have enough tire to put that Walter power to the ground. I can't see you "cutting" your car to achieve maximum "hook", so you'll just have to work with the "Caltracs" and 10 1/2" M/T's to make it happen. I do recall that Mike had that beautiful maroon Camaro hooking at Quaker City in "Top Stock" trim, so you have the right help. Hope to see you at Pittsburgh for the double-event Jul 11-13. |

Hey Roger, I have a feeling when they get it sorted out all the way, they will realize that major surgery will be needed on the back half.(LOL). Either that or they will be going through 10.5 tires every other week.
Your car looked real good at the stick-car shootout @ K.V. on Memorial Day. Tell Brian to keep on grabbin those gears. Mike Mike Galuk JOE COOL RACING Stock-2080 |

Re: The Godfather AKA John Musial
Roger, As far as the power and any help comes from both of my brother's at M-M Fabrication and from Jim Bailey at Finishedracing.com. Walter has nothing to do with this project... As far as hooking up, it 60ft's with the rear tires so far anywhere I have taken it, so there should be no need to cut the car up. We should be at Pittsburgh, see ya there.
