The sign of the times. Super stock cost more than stock.

Re: What happened to Super Stock In Seattle??
Would have been 21 if I pulled my head out of you-know-where and got my old Wagon together.
This weekend will be very painful to me. |

Re: What happened to Super Stock In Seattle??
From what I continue to hear it's the GONG show pitting, parking and having to ride the roadcourse to get to the lanes. When Super Stock was pitted near the lanes where all the trees were located, Super Stock was populated.
It would appear when the Alberta, Canada boys don't show (Setters 3 cars, Nuert, Congdon, Nolan now 2 SS cars plus a stocker, Semeniuk, Graves, Clarke 1 car plus a stocker, Lapointe 1 car plus a stocker) the field drops considerably. But what do I know..... I have wanted to run this race for years but the feedback I get from Comp, SS and Stock as well as the Super class racers, well the excitement factor disappears real quick. Re: What happened to Super Stock In Seattle??
All the above... and add to the fact it's not spectator friendly, I quit going years ago. Paid for "preferred" parking and would still end up stuck in a field a mile away right beside the guy who didn't pay. Took hours to get in or out of the track. Not worth the aggravation anymore and a lot of racers not just Stk/SS feel the same way.

Hey Mike just wait for the divisional 2 weeks later, they even let you park in the"Pro" pits, and the racing is still as good......maybe even better

Hey Dion,
If you are going, good luck at the event! Yes, I have heard that the deal at the divisional is much better and rather enjoyable. Maybe next year.. Mike |

The Division race is much more enjoyable. you get to park on top in the old stock/superstock pits. we were 33rd in line to get in this weekend, pit spot just over a half of mile from the lanes.
