Contact track Manager Victoria Griffey @ Speedworld in Whitman, Arizona. The # is 623-388-2424
Colletti was an owner of the track not long ago. He passed away a few years ago (3-5 years ago?) but I know the track had many pictures of the car. I believe his wife still lives in the area.

Danspony,
I will track the info tonite..Post it later. Coletti Chrysler-Plymouth out of
Hillsboro, Oregon. We were running 340's the same time they were.
We kind of followed what they did..They were the pre-dominant 340
specialists back then,,as I'm sure you know. Is the car a previous
G/SA converted to SS/IA, or the SS/IA only car???...Joseph Coletti
won the 70' Winternationals G/SA class with the Duster. Is that the car??
Paul,,,your helpful 340 friend..

Actually, it was Mark Coletti that won the Winters. He was the youngest ever to win a Nat'l event at the time. Oh, I see you're saying Joe (the Dad) won Class in '70. I think Mark won in '68, with a 340 'cuda.

danspony, I've got a 'vintage' ( that means a few holes) Coletti Riddler tee shirt if you want it. It could be used to produce some new one's by silkscreen process. I don't think any "rights" would be violated. I could e-mail you a pic.

Larry and Ken,,
Joe, the dad won the 70' Winternationals G/SA class with the 70' Duster
running a 12.67 @ 98.79 (on the brakes)...Yes the son Mark won one year earlier,,,at the 69' Winternationals in F/SA,,with a 69' 340 Cuda, running a 12.82 @ 107.01 defeating Cal Method in his J/SA 57' Chevy,,which ran a 13.55....I do believe John Hagen (factory Hemi fame) out of Minnesota had involvement with the Coletti's engines..The NHRA re-factored the 340 to 300HP in 68' (the bastards) after Jim McFarland
drove the Sox & Martin prepped 68' 340 Cuda E/SA to Stock Eliminator runner-up at the 68' Winternationals...McFarland ran a 12.92 @108.46
in losing to Stock Champ John Barkley in a 57' Chevy M/SA, who ran a
14.59....Sorry about that,,,But I wake up to a bowl of '340 Flakes' every morning..Those 340's were really dialed in out a Pomona...
Paul,,,Oh, we ran a 68' 340 Cuda in SS/I,,11.75's in 73',,Never lost in class...Lots of Dover Drag Strip stickers...

Didnt Steve Benyo from Pittsburg have one of the Colletti's cars back in the early to mid 80,s?

Danspony,,,
The "Riddler III" G/SA Duster, can be found in the May 1971 Super Stock & Drag Illustrated Magazine..Feature article..It set the G/SA National
Record in September 1970,,,12.40 ET..I think that may be the car that
was turned into the SS/IA car...possibly 72'/73'??
Paul,,, does that help...
