My suggestion is if your just starting into NHRA SS or STK racing, buy at complete motor, CARB to the pan. Don't buy a new motor , but a proven one. Does not need to be a 1. Under motor, but a motor that you can run for one or two seasons as you figure out your combination as to what works and more important, what does not work.
