MSD Digital 6 Plus - Trigger Wire Voltage
I have a small voltage reading on the trigger wire that is usually used to turn on the MSD box when the box is hooked up to the battery. It is roughly 0.5 volts. Should there be voltage coming from the box to the trigger wire? It is creating a bit of a draw on my system when sitting for long periods. I isolated the box on the bench with no other sources than a battery and still reading a small amount of voltage on the trigger wire.

Re: MSD Digital 6 Plus - Trigger Wire Voltage
If it's one of the capacitive discharge (CD) boxes, there is a component in the box that stores voltage and releases it at a certain trigger level. Kind of like a high voltage battery in the box. It might be leaking the voltage you see. Disconnect the MSD box from the battery wire and see if the trigger still reads voltage.
EDIT: I'll put a volt meter to my digital 7 today and see it the trigger reads voltage with everything off.
