Have to get a new helmet as mine is out of date now.($1,000 custom painted bowling ball now,getting a shelf full of these )
I use a g-force helmet skirt as far as I know they don't have to be SFI certified yet for S/G orS/C.

That's not the case. They must be SFI 3.3.

I stand corrected, the do need to be SFI 3.3
(Oh great now not only do I need a new helmet, I also need a new helmet skirt!)

After a ton of wrestling with this, I went with a head sock. Thought I'd hate it, but now I like it. I have two, and on those hot days, I swap it out so it can be dry. Keeps the helmet a lot drier too, a sock hanging up dries out much faster than a helmet.
