Re: 1967 Fairlane Super Stock
Rusty, the car looks awesome!
I've not heard of the SPI paints before, and I'm in the middle of body working my Wagon. Whats your thoughts on their product? Is it something a amature can use in a garage? That Red is beautiful, is that a white base coat or sealer?

That's a nice looking Fairlane and that red is really RED! I like it!
I know your putting steel wheels on it but if not that, consider the original style Centerlines.

It may be old school with leaf springs but the rest will be up to date.

Re: 1967 Fairlane Super Stock
You mean Keystone Kustomags. That would look awesome! I have a set of NOS front 4" wide. They only prob. is I have 4.75 bolt pattern. I bought them for my 70 cuda ordered willwood brakes & they came with only 4" & 4&1/2 bolt pattern. So I ended up getting torque thrust pro wheels for it. If you want a mint set if the bolt pattern works for you p.m. me...Tom

Thank you for your input on their product, much appreciated. When your shooting a color that they don't supply, whose brand do you use?

Re: 1967 Fairlane Super Stock
I was using Diamont but have switched to Pro Spray lately. I spray the base one day waiting an hour between coats and the next day spray SPI clear. I also painted one using PPG.
