Yes and I think Joe Sorenson still runs that setup in L/SA.I think his best time at Woodburn Oregon Raceway was 11.94 107 MPH.

Didn.t the 1969 396 -265hp have a good size 2 barrel on it ?

396 carb is smaller that the 69-70 350. Same size as 71 and newer
