First Div. 3 points race right around the corner...
and I have a couple of quick questions, as this will be my very first Lucas Oil Series raceat Norwalk in a couple of weeks. If you would please take a minute or two and help me out, I would really appreciate it.
Is there a pre-entry required or anything like that? Or can I just show up when I am supposed to and pay at the gate? Is Norwalk the first class facility that I hear it is? Will anyone help me there if I have questions about setting up the car (specifically the throttle stop)? I am gonna run S/G. I suppose until we are in the staging lanes, someone will probably lend a hand or some advice? I will be in a mostly black, with orange and blue colored Firebird, and my number is 316V. I just got the car in December '06, and it was running S/G in D6 last year, so hopefully it is still pretty close on the setup. Any help or advice is, like I said, greatly appreciated. |

It will run 8.70 @ 148- 149 flat out
I have been running it on the stop bracket racing at Indy (1/8th mi) to try and get a feel for it. I left it exactly the same as the previous owner had it set up, he ran S/G. The only diff. is he was out on the West Coast, and I am here in Indiana, and I weigh about 90# less than him. So, I have some idea what it should be running at the 1/8 mi mark in order to run 9.90. |

L316, Norwalk is in deed a firts class facility. It is my home track and I will be there to run S/C. I will be glad to offer any help I can for you. I will be there Thursday so just look me up. Look for a Undercover dragster with "Cedar Craft" on it. My trailer has Cedar Craft and Barker Trailer Sales on it.
