Default enclosed car trailer

Iam going to buy my first enclosed car trailer. Iam looking at a 28 foot 05 Dominator XT and a 05 Haulmark Ellite trailers with the same options. I would like to know the pros, cons , or suggestions on these trailers. Iam going to put my stock eliminator Fairlane in it.

Thanks

Question Re: enclosed car trailer

Kirk: most important thing; What are you towing with?

i have a 2005 26 ft vintage and love it ,no issues whatsoever and they are very competitvely priced,i have owned haulmarks in the past and will not own one again,i would not recommend buying one unless you enjoy watching it fall apart around you!!!

We've got a Pace 28' shadow gt with daytona package and really like it. Allen over at Flying A took good care of us. Just make sure you order the awning with the trailer. It's a lot easier than putting it on later.

I have a Pace 28' shadow gt with Daytona package and it's heavy. If I had it to do again i would go with 24 aluminum.

Kirk,
I purchased new a 28' Dominator XT this summer and I would highly recommend this trailer to others. I tow it with a 2500HD Chev with the 6.0L and it pulls very nice. I looked at many different trailers in the same category and the Classic had the best craftsmanship fit / finish in my opinion. Like was mentioned below the awning is the best feature by far. Initially I was not going to put one one since they are a little expensive but I am so glad that I did it.
Thanks,
Chad

I second what Jim Powers said. I had an old 28' Pace shadow that was a very solid trailer. I sold it and bought a brand new 26' Haulmark Edge. Has nice cabinets and such, but it's really poorly built. A huge number of fasteners were over-torqued and the heads have broken off, some on my way home from the dealer! The big door has never closed and latched properly and almost fell off from broken fasteners. The little driver side door won't open at all. I wouldn't ever buy a Haulmark again.

BTW, when I go to sell this thing, forget I said anything!!!

I purchased a 2005 Dominator XT in September of 2005. Love the trailer and would recommend it to all.

One modification I did and it applies to all enclosed car haulers. I purchased 16 inch wheels and tires. Tire problems are a thing of the past.

x2 on the Classic Dominator XT. I've had mine for two years and it's been awesome. Exceptionally well built. It was recommended to me by other Classic owners who had equally good luck.
